Starting the evening before the workshop, we'll have dessert, you will bring a 5" x 7" preliminary drawing, and we'll have a little "Show and Tell" and talk about etching techniques.

SATURDAY and SUNDAY, JANUARY 26th and 27th, 9 am to 4 pm
During the day we will cover basic, traditional printing and etching tchniques while we explore (in no particular order and depending on what you want to learn) white ground etching, chine colle mezzotint, aquatint, engraving, fat bitig intaglio r relie, asphaltum marbilizing ground, spit etching, lift ground (sugar lift), and soft ground.
Use of all paper, tools, materials, and chemicals included in fees.
We offer personal instruction, and the class is limited to 5 artists – $275
